Relaxing Journeys

Thoroughly enjoyable! From our perspective, this is the only way to tour both islands. Marie, our agent at Relaxing Journeys was very helpful and answered all questions in a timely manner. Transfers to/from the airports were handled in a professional manner. The coach is very comfortable and makes plenty of stops for tours and breaks. Even though each seat in the coach is wonderful, Grand Pacific has a seat rotation plan that will move you to different seats throughout the entire coach during the tour – nobody has a bad seat. Hotels were the best in the area, and the included meals were varied and delicious. We had a change in drivers during the tour and can say without reservation that both John and Roger took excellent care of everyone. The tours were interesting, and in some cases unusual. The optional Skipper’s Canyon tour in Queenstown allowed us to view fantastic landscape – you may be annoyed by sand flies, so make certain you bring some insect repellent. The overnight Doubtful Sound cruise was also a highlight and provided fantastic views. Don’t overpack – You’ll find laundry facilities during the journey, and two of the hotels have a free guest laundry. Loved the trip!

My wife and I really enjoyed our trip. Marie was very helpful in tailoring the holiday for us. The accommodation and tour bookings arranged by Relaxing Journeys all proceeded without a problem. Our only feedback is that the standard of accommodation booked in Christchurch was of a lesser standard than other locations and was a bit disappointing.

We had an incredible holiday in New Zealand, thanks to Relaxing Journeys and our patient consultant Georgina. We saw the awesome landscape from road, train, boat, small plane, kayak and on foot. We smelled native beech forests, touched smooth blue icebergs and were followed by fantails on a lagoon. We climbed mountain tracks and saw spectacular sunsets. The accommodation was excellent, right down to the last night as we looked out across the lights of Auckland from our balcony.

Thank you Relaxing Jouneys and thank you Teresa. You guys are great, the time saved to streamline our vacation is really much appreciated. South Island has so much to see and do, you guys are most fortunate and yet it’s gonna be tough to keep improving, but here goes. We had several minor negatives, amazingly lots of positives, but overall South Island is just so amazing we believe everyone would need much more then 2 weeks or multiple trips to appreciate the beauty that is NZ. Thank you again.

Without exception every one that I came across from Relaxing Journeys were so kind, friendly, knowledgeable, professional. The tour was unbelievably good and throughly enjoyable. I will use Relaxing Journeys again. A big thank you to all.

Our trip to NZ was excellent, a bucket list journey. Was really impressed with the Trips/Tramps day trip to Milford, Andrew was a fabulous guide. Hard to mess up a place as beautiful as Fiordland. Car and accommodations were all to expectations. No surprises is always a good way to have a vacation.
