The itinerary was great, and everything worked out exactly according to plan.

Train trip was just amazing. The outside viewing carriage made it really exciting.

The whole trip was fantastic, accommodation ranging from good to great. The car the Ezi rental people provided was brand new so no issues there. The included activities were very informative and couldn’t have found out more about the areas otherwise. The only thing I wouldn’t do again is go to Nelson unless was continuing down the west coast, nothing wrong with Nelson but it was a long way to retrace steps. On reflection 2 nights in Ta Anau would have been perfect even though we did make it to Queenstown before dark, it would have been good to spend 1 more night in that great town. Other than that, everything worked out fine apart from not being able to do the Shotover Jetboat which was out of everybody’s control. The train trip was fantastic, I would recommend that to anybody who asks. We have done 2 days on the Rocky Mountaineer and the 5 hours on this train you get to see the lot that you see on that train.

Whole process was very easy with Sally guiding me through the whole process. Not once did I get the impression that nothing was too hard to accommodate our requests and changes. I am sure Sally had a direct line to Mother Nature as the only bad weather we experienced during our 32 days was when we were travelling. At no stage did we have any of our activities interrupted by bad weather. We found most of the accommodation that was booked for us was above our expectations. There was only 1 hiccup at one motel which was outside of Sally’s control, and I raised my concerns directly with the Motel owner. Sally was informed of the problem and was very apologetic. Overall, I would most certainly use Relaxing Journeys again for my next trip to New Zealand.

We feel we saw and experienced some of the best parts of New Zealand. The timing was excellent to give us enough time between stops and also enough breaks to have some on our own time.

It was great knowing everything was planned out for you. We are older travelers but still young in mind and I think we probably should have thought more about the drive distance between places. Otherwise great holiday enjoyed by all. Thankyou to Sally Laurie who we dealt with so helpful.

The trip was well planned and organised especially given the late stage we had booked our trip.

Sally was very helpful prior to the trip, and everything was organised and ready for us when we arrived. We had a great time, and all the accommodation was great quality and central, which made things very easy. We missed the Milford Sound tour but were able to get on a later tour. There was road works between Te Anau and Milford Sounds which slowed things down, but we also did not allow enough time, which was our fault!

It’s a very positive experience with RJ. Hoping to use your services in the future.

Sally Laurie’s excellent planning, patience and the knowledge to understand and suggest our trip was out of this world. Her ability to follow through the three R’s of customer service – Respecting our needs, Responsibility to contact us as and when necessary and Reliability for us to communicate with her in a timely manner is greatly appreciated. Accommodation was good however cabins at Hot Water beach had no ensuite which was inconvenient at night especially as you get older and or have health problems. Rental car was great however did not have GPS, so we had to rely on maps to navigate. Otherwise, the trip and organisation were great!
