This morning, pick up your rental car before leaving the city to explore the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains. Along the way, consider stopping at Featherdale Wildlife Park to see koalas and feed kangaroos by hand.
Today, travel north to the Hunter Valley wine region, which boasts over 120 wineries, many of which offer tastings at their cellar doors. Besides the wineries, you’ll find a variety of excellent restaurants, galleries, and local producers selling handmade cheese and olive oil.
Today is yours to explore the Hunter Valley at your leisure. Consider joining a wine tour to visit one of the region’s renowned wineries, or if you prefer something more active, you can explore by renting a bicycle or taking a horse and carriage ride. Alternatively, you might enjoy a relaxing spa treatment at the hotel and dine at the Chez Pok restaurant.
