Another day to relax and explore Noosa. Consider taking the boardwalk from Noosa Main Beach into Noosa National Park. Along the path, enjoy sweeping views of Laguna Bay where you might spot dolphins or whales, and keep an eye out for koalas in the trees. The park features numerous picturesque bays, surfing spots, and scenic walking trails suitable for short strolls or longer hikes.
Head north to Hervey Bay where you can securely park your car at River Heads Mainland Reception. From there, catch the ferry to the World Heritage-listed Fraser Island. The island boasts over 40 stunning freshwater lakes, towering rainforests, clear, fast-flowing streams, breathtaking cliffs with colorful sands, and 120 kilometers of uninterrupted ocean beach.
Kingfisher Bay Resort is nestled among the tree-covered dunes, overlooking the tranquil blue waters of the Great Sandy Strait. It provides all the modern amenities of a resort while harmonizing with Fraser Island’s delicate ecological system. The resort offers opportunities for boating, fishing, swimming, beachcombing, bushwalking, and four-wheel driving, making it a paradise for nature enthusiasts.
