Thank you very much for the seamless arrangement. Pick up from the hotel and a private transfer arranged and waiting for us at the departure point and ride us to the Christchurch Airbnb. The driver for the road trip was knowledgeable and professional. He provided adequate information regarding the arrangements and logistics, and at the same time give us an understanding of the habitats and culture of New Zealand in a friendly atmosphere. Although there are different groups joining in and leaving the coach, he was able to manage well (sure the admin. staff of your company has made lots of co-ordinations and arrangements) The driver was also attentive to group and individual needs; we were comfortable and secured .we were being taken good care of. However, the time allowed in Mt.Cook is only 1 1/2 hr which you can only finish lunch and washroom activities. It is mainly because much time was used to accommodate too many groups (different itineraries were included) in the trip. This should be improved, though the road has nice scenery.

Comfortable seats, regular stops at all the right places but best of all, Tom was a safe driver and made the trip really interesting with his very knowledgeable commentary. I've already shared information I learned on the trip with my friends. Tom really made the trip.

I booked the tour for me and my wife. We enjoyed the journey. The tour was insightful, had proper stoppage points and our tour bus team was also very good. We liked it and will consider Relaxing Journeys again in future.

Our guide Tom was excellent. Not only was he knowledgeable, he was so friendly and made our trip extremely worth while. He told jokes that I really enjoyed and managed to stay upbeat and enthusiastic even though there were only a few people in the bus and the drive was horrendously long. In addition, the trip was very well planned. The stops were appropriately timed and the places we stopped by were unique and interesting.
We loved our driver Tom! Though there were less than 10 people on the bus, Tom was still very upbeat and shared his great sense of humour. He made it a very enjoyable trip even though it included around 9 hours of driving. Also, Toni, our tour consultant, arranged a hassle-free complimentary drop-off at the airport for our party. We arrived on the dot at 6.35pm. Very efficient and comfortable journey overall. Will not hesitate to engage Relaxing Journeys again.

Disappointing tour. Queenstown via Mt Cook to Christchurch, really was just a bus service to pick up & drop off passengers. We had to wait for some of them to arrive by taxi, we also went to the airport to drop off passengers. The morning and afternoon tea stops were to large places with poor choice of food & expensive and of course the retail shop. No other option to choose from to buy food. The long stop at Mt Cook is a long time if you don't choose the buffet lunch as there isn't anything there to see or do, although they call it a village. The coach driver gave a running commentary of information & but it was very expensive at $200 per person and not worth the money. (RJ. Ouch! Nothing to do at Mt Cook? That's a first!)

Very well organised, very pleasant driver, amazing scenery. We were lucky the weather cleared as we began the cruise but the cloud didnt lift so our flight back was cancelled. The coach trip back was long, mainly due to fallen trees and awaiting a JCB to shift them. But nothing could have spoilt the views.

Although the weather was terrible that day I really really enjoyed the trip and the lovely commentary! I also met very nice fellow travelers. I'd recommend this tour to everyone!

Not as impressed with Mount Cook as I had hoped. Its a short stop at the hotel and cafe with little time to take in some of the museum and documentaries. I am sure Mount Cook is far more impressive when there is snow all around and not just at the peak. The scenic drive to Christchurch was pleasant and our driver informative and helpful.

We don't have enough time in great places like this tour promoted, like in Lake Tekapo where we just stopped 10 minutes, but in teh cafe shop we stopped for 20 minutes. I chose this tour because I wanted to enjoy many great places, not enjoy cafe and expensive souvernir shop. We really did not enjoy this tour. Very short time all in interesting places. I am not recommending this tour to all my friends.
