Tour Itinerary

Visit the Auckland War Memorial Museum and enjoy a cultural performance from Auckland tribe, Ngati Whatua O Orakei. Find out about the special place Maori have at the Museum and gain a deeper understanding of Maori culture and the taonga (treasures) within the Museum.

Also tour Auckland with its beautiful harbour, volcanoes and unique visitor attractions. This is a morning tour with a cultural twist. See first hand why Auckland is known as the 'City of Sails' as you enjoy a trip over the Harbour Bridge.  Visit the famous Auckland landmark of Mount Eden, a dormant volcano whose summit offers excellent panoramic views of the city and harbours.

From this fantastic vantage point you will see evidence of Auckland’s volcanic history, the most significant being the youngest volcano of Rangitoto Island at the entrance to the Waitemata harbour.

The sightseeing tour also takes in the Auckland Domain, the city’s oldest park which is situated on a 62,000 year old volcano. In addition to these natural features the city sights tour also takes in the trendy shopping area of Parnell Village with its historical buildings that have been transformed into boutiques, antique, craft and specialty shops.

  • 5Informative and FUN tour! This was a relaxing tour even with a little baby. We enjoyed the stunning beauties of Auckland from different sights, and the museum tour about Maori culture made our visit in Auckland completed. Of course there are hop-on hop-off buses carrying you to the same places with broadcasting intro, yet it was our driver Pitt-the local's intro and funny stories and comments made the whole tour fun. He was very nice. Definitely worth it.
