Tour Itinerary
Auckland’s most Eco-friendly activity!

Enjoy a 40 minute ferry cruise through the Hauraki Gulf from Auckland to Waiheke Island. Be greeted by your guide on arrival and taken on a mini-tour of Waiheke en route to the EcoZip site on Trig Hill.

Three 200 metre dual ziplines will fly you smoothly side-by-side with a partner, friend or relative down into the stunning tract of original and regenerating native bush. Experience these state-of-the-art flying fox ziplines and an eco-immersive forest walk on breath-taking Waiheke Island.

Your guide will also talk about the local flora and fauna and the conservation of this spectacular natural environment on your scenic walk back to base. At the end of your tour you will be returned to the Matiatia Wharf for your return ferry journey back to Auckland.

Please also note, if you choose to be dropped off before Matiatia ferry terminal, we will provide you with comprehensive information on local transport options to get you back to Matiatia, should you be returning to Auckland that day.

  • 5The Waiheke Island Ziplines & Forest Walk Tour was great. Guides were passionate about their roles. After doing the Ziplines, the short trek back to HQ was great too. Thanks for the experience! It was a perfect way to kick start my New Zealand experience.

  • 5For a quick half-day tour, it was a great way to get out and enjoy the sites aroumd Waiheki and scout for good wineries. The folks at Eco-Zip were amazing and attentive to our questions. The zip-lining itself was good fun (only couple there) and we learned a lot about the plant life on our walk back to base camp. Afterwards, the eco-zip emploeeys recommended a great winery (Cable Bay) where we had some dinner and wine. All in all, a great time was had.
