Tour Itinerary
Cruise amongst 144 islands abundant in marine life and see the natural wonder at the 'Hole in the Rock'. Designed for nature lovers, this adventure begins when you step onboard our luxury "Dolphin Seeker" catamaran in the Bay of Islands. As we depart we take a short cruise across the Bay to pick up passengers from historic Russell before heading out into the clear waters of the beautiful Bay of Islands. On our way to the Cape Brett Lighthouse, we look out for the playful dolphins. Bottlenose and common dolphins take great delight in gliding alongside the catamaran and showing off their acrobatic flips! Keep a look out for orca whales, penguins, dolphins, seals and bird life.
Further out we visit beautiful Motukokako Island and the famous Hole in the Rock. Hold your breath as we skillfully navigate our way through the hole and past the spectacular Grand Cathedral Cave (conditions permitting).
As we cruise back to Paihia we pass several remote islands, fringed with golden sandy beaches and decorated with red-flowering pohutukawa trees during the summer months. If you wish to spend some time in Russell before or after your cruise, you can disembark here and catch the ferry back to Paihia at your leisure(own expense).

Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Fullers who, with a great smile changed us over to the booking on the 28th December when I had actually booked for the 29th!! I can think of many excuses for turning up on the wrong day but they welcomed us graciously and made the change of dates without ANY dramas. Thank you heaps! The trip itself was wonderful with many stops to view the dolphins and other tours swimming with the dolphins. What a beautiful part of the world and couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. Conditions onboard were great with an informative and amusing description of our tour. Detailed maps of the tour are available free on board. A great half day tour with refreshements available on board - well worth the trip. Don't park in normal parking as fines will be applied - and get in early for the longer term parking behind the shops. When we got back from our morning tour the parking lot was full!!!
