This fantastic tour takes you across the Auckland Harbour Bridge, north via the Hibiscus Coast to the beautiful Bay of Islands – a haven for people who enjoy sea activities and the beauty of un-crowded sandy beaches and native forests.
Arrive in Paihia, Bay of Islands and visit the historic Waitangi Treaty Grounds where in 1840, the Treaty of Waitangi was signed. On your guided tour uncover the history that played a significant part in shaping a nation.
Then join a cruise to Cape Brett. Our experienced local skippers will guide you through the beautiful clear waters in search of dolphins and whales, past many secluded islands to the Cape Brett Lighthouse and through the famous Hole in the Rock (conditions permitting).
On completion of your cruise, rejoin your coach for your return journey to Auckland.

Great tour! The coach was beautiful and comfortable. The driver who doubled as a guide was very knowledgeable. Places visited were interesting and New Zealand is absolutely beautiful.

My wife and I really enjoyed this tour. I signed us up for the tour because I thought the boat trip out to Cape Brett would be fun and the bus ride on the way would provide a scenic insight into rural New Zealand. The tour did both well. But the highlight was the tour of the Waitangi treaty grounds. We had fun and learned a lot on this well-planned and timed tour. Malcolm was an excellent, informative guide. We bought our own lunch of fresh, tasty sandwiches at the cafe where the bus stopped halfway to the Bay of Islands and enjoyed them on the boat. We saw dolphins, but the sea was too rough for the boat to go through the Hole in the Rock. Give this 4.5 stars!

This trip was not what I expected given the idyllic pictures of the Bay of Islands. We enjoyed the scenery and commentary on the drive up to the Bay, but too much time was spent looking for dolphins which resulted in a very rough trip to the 'Hole in the rock' and little time enjoying the islands. Waitangi was interesting with a good guide.

We had a fanastic day out at the Bay of Islands and Cape Brett. Your drivers were very informative, humerous and made our trip totally enjoyable. My family and myself will remember both tours we had with your company for a long time. We had a great holiday (27 days in all) in N.Z and hope to return some time soon. We would recommend your company to any of our friends travelling to N.Z.

We had a great trip. Bus driver peter was fantastic his commentary was exceptional and at the boat leg of the trip the operators were so friendly and all went to clockwork. Found out some interesting info on NZ history at the treaty house as well. Would recomend to others as it was a very memorable holiday.
