Tour Itinerary
Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Rotorua. Your fist experience of the day is Te Puia, a place of Maori culture and a thermal wonderland of impressive geysers and boiling mud pools.
Also explore Rainbow Springs Nature Park, full of Rainbow Trout and showcasing native flora and fauna as well as the New Zealand Kiwi.
Then see NZ's agricultural industry in action with a sheep shearing display and sheep dog trials at the Agrodome Sheep Farm.
Finally travel up the Skyline Gondola for stunning views over Rotorua. While you are there you may like to experience the thrill of a luge ride. (additional cost). Following your gondola experience, a transfer shuttle will take you back to your hotel.

We took a half day morning sights tour with Skyline Gondola which included the Agrodome, Te Puia and Rainbow Springs. It felt pretty rushed at Te Puia as we did that first and had a set show time at the Agrodome. The Agrodome show was great. The Rainbow Springs was average. Not all too interesting. Overall, we would have loved more time at Te Puia. We were given tickets to the Gondola with a pickup time which allowed for 2 hours at the top. We did 5 runs on the luge and again felt very rushed for the pickup time. We would have enjoyed more time at the top with enough time for the luge. Overall, this was a well run tour.
