I had a great time, the tour exactly suited what I was looking for (a look around on a limited time/budget). The driver was great, it would have been nice to have a bit longer at the Auckland Zoo but the highlight of the day was the sail on the Auckland Harbour in the afternoon.

My friend Kerry and I really enjoyed our trip to New Zealand, but were disappointed with the Auckland Great Day Out Tour because of the time we spent on the bus and not getting to the places we were suppose to. The tour company new the marathons were on and did not try and rescedule any part of the tour, on the morning of the tour we suggested to the personal at reception (we would be happy to change the tour to the next day ) but they assured us everything would be ok and they would sort things out. Well that did not happen and at the end of the day we did not get to see Kelly Tarltons Underwater World. I will say though the bus driver Don was brilliant, he tried his best to make our day successful, but even he couldn't do the impossible.

We had an absolutely gorgeous day in which to tour Auckland. Our driver drove us across the Harbor Bridge and showed us the Nippon Clipon, which was fascinating. The tour of the aquarium was wonderful and allowed us to walk around and take pictures. The trip to the top of Mt. Eden was spectacular and the views breathtaking. He even showed us where he lives. And then the coup d'grace was the cruise on a sailing yacht, where two of our members steered the boat. Finally, the high point, literally, was the ride to the top of the Sky Tower and the magnificent views it afforded. Great Tour!!!
