the Dolphins morning cruise then jump ship to Lion New Zealand in time for lunch and activities.
An unrivalled combo. This full day trip is a unique opportunity to experience the spectacular Bay of Islands totally "hands on".

First, join our luxury 20m high speed catamaran, designed specifically for the sea conditions of the Bay of Islands area. Swimming with dolphins in their world is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Our guides are some of the most experienced in the Bay and will educate and ensure you get the most from your adventure. There is a fully licensed cash bar onboard and hearty lunches are available. Next spend the afternoon with us on Lion New Zealand, the ultimate sailing experience onboard New Zealand’s famous 80ft maxi yacht. Built for the late Sir Peter Blake to race in the 1985/86 Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race and winner of the infamous 1984 Sydney to Hobart, this magnificent yacht offers a once in a lifetime experience.

Your Lion New Zealand sail includes:

• Get involved with our experienced crew, trim the grinders, take the helm or sit back and relax
• Fresh BBQ lunch and activities such as kayaking and snorkelling included at Otehei Bay, Urupukapuka Island.
• An incredible sailing experience with amazing photo opportunities
• Wet weather jackets provided. No sailing experience necessary

• This tour must be booked at least 72 hours in advance of travel

General Information:

• Child ages are 5-15 years inclusive (0-5 years are free if sitting on a lap, but if a seat is required a child fare must be paid)
• No sailing experience necessary
• Bring a togs (bathers/swimmers), hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, comfortable shoes and camera
• Morning/afternoon tea, lunch refreshments (own expense)
• In winter months we advise dressing warmly - jackets and warm clothes recommended
• A portion of your fare contributes to marine mammal research and conservation
• Occasionally we don't see marine mammals, in which case a non-transferable vouchers is issued to come again for free. This is not a money back guarantee
