2 1/2 Hour Pride of Auckland Dinner Cruise

Tour Itinerary

Board one of four 15 metre (50 foot) Pride of Auckland Yachts, each built from the same mould and extremely comfortable for non-sailors, yet able to give experienced sailors the thrills they seek from helming and trimming the yachts. The yachts' performance under sail is easy and powerful, even in light breezes. They are very stable and remain upright and comfortable even in windy conditions. Guests will not suffer sea sickness as the Waitemata Harbour is protected from the sea swells.

This Dinner Cruise ties up at a sheltered anchorage within the largest yacht marina in the southern hemisphere as the tables below deck are set for the Seafood Dinner (alternative menus confirmed on booking), along with the ship's bar for drinks.

After dinner the sails are set to pass under the Auckland Harbour Bridge to Chelsea Sugar Works, Devonport Naval Base and the City's Waterfront.

Dinner Cruise Menu

ENTRÉE

• New Caledonia prawns with tomato, cucumber, ginger and red onion salsa OR
• Roasted beurre bosc pear with whipped goats cheese and Parma ham

MAIN

• Roasted Big Glory Bay salmon, fondant potato, chargrilled vegetables, walnut tomato and lemon dressing OR
• Organic free range chicken butter roasted, fondant potato, caramilised parsnips, confit garlic and rosemary honey dressing

DESSERT

• Vanilla crème brûlée with sesame tuille
• Tea and coffee.

A licensed cash bar is available on board. The bar carries a selection of premium New Zealand beers and wines and soft drinks. This menu is served at our sheltered anchorage.

General Information:

• Child ages are 5-15 years inclusive (0-5 years are free if sitting on a lap, but if a seat is required a child fare must be paid)
• Covered footwear should be worn
• In winter months we advise dressing warmly - jackets and warm clothes recommended
