A relaxed and leisurely lakeshore, forest & bird guided walk followed by a boutique wine tour.
Experience the sights, smells and tastes of Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and Central Otago.

The day starts with a very popular guided nature walk around the lakeside, followed by wine touring through the boutique vineyards of Central Otago. Departing Queenstown at 8am this morning walk combines the best of native flora and fauna with magnificent lake and mountain views. Native birds are readily seen and heard, in and around the edges of the forest.

• Walking time: 2 to 3 hours.
• Walking distance: 2 to 5kms (easy walking)
• Track: Well-formed flat surface, some steps
• Highlights: Spectacular lake and mountain views and. There is always a variety of bird life close at hand and easy to view.

After a leisurely morning nature walk you will be transferred to on of our very experienced guides to join a boutique wine tour. The afternoon is spent discovering some of Central Otago’s boutique vineyards, tasting some of the region's fine wines and enjoying a gourmet platter style lunch in a vineyard

What to bring:

Sensible footwear, a warm/sun hat, wet/wind/warm clothing for changeable weather, a small daypack and of course your camera. A reasonable level of fitness will ensure an enjoyable walk.
