Central Otago wine country spreads from the outskirts of Queenstown’s Wakatipu Basin through picturesque valleys and dramatic gorges to the rolling vine-clad foothills of Bannockburn and beyond. This tour takes you from Queenstown to the Gibbston Valley and through to the Bannockburn and Cromwell region, the heart of the Central Otago wine country.

An afternoon among the boutique vineyards and spectacular scenery of Central Otago, a perfect introduction to the region.

All daily tours run with a maximum of 11 people and allow you to see real drama in the scenery, hear the pristine silence of the high country, savour the scent of pure clean air and feel the pulse of the heart of Central Otago. Taste the wine, toast the region.

Tour Inclusions:

• Tasting at 4 vineyards in the Gibbston, Cromwell and Bannockburn regions
• A delightful platter style lunch at Carrick Winery restaurant. Your lunch platter consists of things like Smoked Salmon, Cheeses, Chutneys, Pate’s, Fresh baked Breads& Pesto’s, all made wher possible on the premises.
  
• Visit to historic Old Cromwell Town (time and weather permitting)
  
• A stunning drive through the Kawarau Gorge whilst learning about the early pioneering history of this rugged region.
  
• View the historic Kawarau Bridge and the original AJ Hackett Bungy jump
  
• Queenstown hotel pickup and drop off
