| Does Coral Princess offer transfers?
For Auckland departures, a transfer is not offered. A complimentary coach transfer from Queenstown to Milford Sound is available on departure day. How do I get from the airport/hotel to the vessel?For our Auckland departures you will need to organise a taxi or hotel transfer. For the Milford Sound departures a complimentary transfer is offered from Queenstown. If you book and pre or post accommodation with Relaxing Journeys, we can organise these transfers for you. Are all meals provided onboard and what style of dining is available?Provided in your cruise cost are three meals per day as well as morning and afternoon teas. Post mix soft drinks are included and a complimentary Tea and coffee station is open 24 hours. Breakfast and Lunch provided onboard are buffet style while Dinner is table d’hote. *The galley will meet any special dietary requirements, however two weeks notice must be given. Can we fit three adults into a Cabin?No Can we push two twin beds together to make a double?We are able to change bedding configuration from Twin Beds to Junior King Beds or v.v. in Main Deck A and Promenade Deck A Staterooms. Please request your bedding type when booking. What size is the bed in a double stateroom?Oceanic Discoverer has Queen Beds in Main Deck B and Promenade Deck B Staterooms, and Twin Beds or Junior King Beds in all other categories. Cruises do not provide services of entertainment, supervision or care of children. Our New Zealand No, should you have a family travelling they will need to take separate rooms. Two adults in
one room and the two children in another. Please ask for the same grades of accommodation to On Oceanic Discoverer, the third person (child only) will be accommodated on a lounge as we do not have Pullman bunks in any staterooms. This is applicable in a Main Deck A or Main Deck B stateroom only. Do we need to pre book activities onboard?No – all can be arranged on board. What extra’s will we be paying for onboard?All bar and shop charges (except post mix soft drink which is included), and ship to shore
phone/fax calls. What are the facilities in your cabin/stateroom?All rooms are air conditioned, and equipped with ensuite, wardrobe, suitcase cupboard, speaker, large windows, desk and hairdryer. Power points onboard are 240 volt for Australian plugs. There is a shaving outlet in each bathroom. What time can we board the vessel?Milford Sound cruises board at 1.00pm for a 2.00pm departure (a complimentary coach transfer from Queenstown to Milford Sound is available on departure day), Auckland cruises board at 9.00am for a 10.00am departure. Do we need to take out Insurance?It is recommended that all passengers purchase appropriate travel insurance prior to departure. Please ensure you are covered for remote area evacuation |
