Bernie and Gerard welcome you to Holly Homestead B&B. Our character home was built in the 1920's from beautiful native timbers: Holly Homestead is a fine example of "Arts & Crafts" architecture. Choose from a selection of well-appointed king, queen and twin rooms, all with ensuite facilities. Franz Josef offers a variety of attractions, and we are happy to help you arrange your activities.

Farmhouse style kitchen/dining - spectacular alpine view from the breakfast table (clouds permitting!). Hot and cold drinks are available at any time. The Franz Josef township offers a choice of restaurants for lunch and dinner.

All guest rooms have comfortable beds with electric blankets, wool duvets, quality linen and bathrobes. Our Super King beds can be split to be two comfortable single beds or joined to be one large bed. All bathrooms include toiletries, hairdryers and the comfort of wooden toilet seats!

After your adventures, relax in our guest lounge, swap travel stories with other guests, catch up on your postcards or enjoy our books and magazines. There is room to spread out your maps (or our maps) or to write your journal. You are very welcome to use our computer to check emails. Laundry facilities available.
