From Chalet Romantica it's only a stroll down to the beach, shops, wharf and the town center. On the way there you'll pass several restaurants and cafés, serving fresh seafood, steaks or whatever you feel like. One of them is the famous Swiss Café & Grill right on the waterfront.
Accommodation
The Romantica Suite
Right under the apex, is a beautiful 50 m2 open-plan mini-suite with super king or Californian king bed. A comfortable lounge sofa on a Berber rug and TV, video, CD stereo system form a cozy sitting area. The kitchenette is fully equipped with hotplate and microwave to allow for small intimate meals.
There is an ensuite with shower and toilet, hairdryer, heated towelrail and a walk-in wardrobe area. Windows and a spacious, private balcony offer a variety of spectacular ocean & bush views all around. To get to this suite you need to climb a few steps. Once you are up there, you'll agree it's worth it! Don't worry, you will get help with your luggage!
The Bellevue Suite
Beautifully designed one bedroom apartment. The master bed can either be made up as a super king or two single beds. There is plenty of wardrobe space and a ensuite with shower and toilet, hairdryer and heated towelrail.
Part of the lounge is a fully equipped kitchen with hotplates, microwave and all necessary utensils. Adjacent to the dining area is the lounge with a comfortable three seater sofa, CD/stereo system TV and DVD player. A sunny balcony offers fantastic views over the Bay of Islands. Deckchairs, table and lounger are there for extra comfort. The suite is serviced daily.
The Bellavista Room
Offers magnificent views over the Bay. It also has a balcony with deck chairs and table. for guests to enjoy the breathtaking vista. The room features a quality queen-size bed, writing table and chairs, TV, video, CD player and ample wardrobe space.
A fridge, toaster, hot water jug, microwave and lovely hand painted crockery, cutlery and glass ware are also provided. The private bathroom is just a step across the hallway with toilet, shub, massage shower, hairdryer and heated towelrails. You can book this room either with (B&B) or without breakfast.
