Lake Tekapo Alpine Vista Bed & Breakfast, Homestay is located in Lake View Heights, Lake Tekapo and has panoramic views of the Southern Alps, Lake Tekapo, Mt John and the Two Thumbs Range.

Situated overlooking the township of Lake Tekapo, you are removed from the noise of Lake Tekapo, while remaining in walking distance of shops, the lake, restaurants and attractions.

You will quickly realise that the colors used throughout the house reflect those that can be seen in the expansive landscape. On entering Alpine Vista you will instantly feel relaxed and sense that you are coming as friends into a home. The views from all angles are quite breathtaking. Areas are scattered throughout the gardens where seating is provided for those guests who would just like to get away by themselves to read a book or plan the next day.

Room Facilities

Alpine Vista offers 3 guest bedrooms all with ensuites. The Godley room offers a king size bed and ensuite with magnificant views of the Southern Alps, Lake Tekapo and the Two Thumbs range. The Macaulay room has a king size bed and ensuite and offers magnificant views of Southern Alps, Mt John, Mt Edward and Lake Tekapo. The Cass room offers twin beds, ensuite with separate bath and shower, and lovely garden views with glimpses of the Southern Alps.

Dining

In the morning a continental and full English breakfast will be prepared for you in our large country style kitchen. A great place to once again linger over a cup of tea or coffee while you plan your day around the Lake Tekapo area.

The lounge offers panoramic views of Lake Tekapo and the Southern Alps and where the hosts invite guests to join them each evening from 5.30pm until 6.30pm for a predinner drink. This gives you an opportunity to meet other guests who are staying in the house before heading out to one of the fine restaurants Lake Tekapo has to offer.
