Paradise Valley Springs is a superbly presented wildlife park. Enjoy New Zealand wildlife, Rainbow and Brown Trout, New Zealand birds, friendly farm animals, pure spring water and an elevated Treetops Walk over native New Zealand Bush.

Paradise Valley is recognised internationally as being of the highest quality and is beautifully maintained. Natural materials have been used throughout the park, and the flat cobblestone paths and wooden boardwalks are wide and easily accessible for all.

Set in a beautiful native New Zealand bush setting, the circuit follows much of the Trout filled Ngongotaha Stream and low fences mean lots of interaction with the wildlife. The fantastic new Elevated Treetops Canopy Walk winds through a secluded area on the edge of the Mamaku Ranges.

The park is home to several varieties of animals found wild or farmed in New Zealand Deer, Thar (goats), Wallabies, Kune Kune pigs, Giant Eels, Friendly Farm Animals, Native Birds, and more!

At Paradise Valley Springs you can get up close to feed much of the wildlife in their natural habitat. Our Wetlands showcase both native and introduced water birds. Black Swans glide elegantly through the misty waters, as Ducks dive and play to get their food.

Discover The Pride of Paradise - our Lion Pride. Their specially designed enclosure allows visitors to get very close to these wild animals. At times, we have gorgeous Lion Cubs available for patting.

Paradise Valley Springs has its own natural freshwater Spring, Te Waireka meaning Sweet Water. Visitors are invited to touch and taste pure New Zealand Spring Water straight from the natural Spring!
