The Bay of Islands region has the finest maritime park in New Zealand with the 144 Islands and secluded bays. The Bay has an abundance of marine life, including the big marlin, whales, penguins, dolphins, gannets and many other species. The maritime and historic park is the original cradle of European civilization and has fine examples of Maori culture. The Bay with its pristine natural environment is the gathering place in the South Pacific for overseas sailing yachts on world cruises, international sport fishermen, golfers and marine enthusiasts. We invite you to whet your appetite for your personal visit to this tranquil, romantic and adventurous region of clean green New Zealand.
From there we venture into the stunning Hole in the Rock at Cape Brett (conditions permitting) – hold your breath as the skipper navigates through the narrow space and admire the rock walls which soar above you. Watch out for water drops if you’re seated on the top deck! Then take in the majestic Grand Cathedral Cave before heading back into the sheltered waters of the Bay. 'Fullers Bay of Islands' is fortunate to hold exclusive landing rights at Otehei Bay on Urupukapuka Island, one of the most beautiful and historically significant islands in the Bay. Here you can enjoy one of the many walks, or unwind on the white sandy beach. |
