Situated in one of the most spectacular settings in New Zealand, nestled between the Kaikoura Seaward Mountain Range and famed Mangamaunu Bay, and surrounded by an expansive deer farm and 1000 tree olive grove, Hapuku Lodge & Tree Houses offers six guest rooms, a stand alone spacious apartment, five luxury Tree Houses, a function venue, and a dedication to creating exciting food from local, seasonal ingredients.
Stanley Morris Adds International Flair to Our Kiwi Lodge
Stanley Morris started in September as the Managing Partner at Hapuku Lodge & Tree Houses. Stanley brings exceptional international experience, having managed high end hospitality businesses in Italy, California and South East Asia over the last 20 years. Stanley’s experience is particularly strong in food service management.
Growing the Menu
Chef Rich Huber is enjoying the challenges of growing his own herbs, vegetables and foraging in the bountiful Kaikoura countryside. But it is in the kitchen where Rich is demonstrating his genuine skills, developing our menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In response to guest feedback this year, Hapuku will include full cooked breakfast in their room rate starting 1st April 2009. We are now offering a light lunch menu and have grown the menu choices for our three course dinners.
