Relaxing Journeys Receives Top AAT Kings Award

Well another travel season has come and gone and now we are ready to crack down and focus on the next. But before the hard work commences Georgina, Craig and I were invited to attend ‘AAT Kings Annual Champions Trip’ in Cairns with a two night stop over on Dunk Island. As expected, AAT Kings went all out to treat the 50 agents attending to a well deserved break.
Several late nights were had by many and early morning starts didn’t help, but we all got see Cairns at its best. The weather had been threatening for the 3 weeks prior, but on arrival the clouds departed, the Great Barrier reef cleared and we were treated to the ‘best weather in months’ according to locals.
The brilliant weather helped to display Cairns and Dunk Island in all their glory, and we were not disappointed. Cairns is very pretty, a landscape not dissimilar to parts of the North Island of New Zealand including rolling hills, lush and green foliage and a mountainous backdrop.
The last night of our getaway, was Awards night where Relaxing Journeys received top honours as ‘AAT Kings Top New Zealand Wholesaler for 2008′. Look out all you Aussie agents we are aiming for the same in Australia this year!
